Founded in 1863, the Camus Family has always cultivated its passion for exceptional cognacs.
Camus cognacs are recognized throughout the world for their richness and their representativeness of the cognac terroir. Maison Camus is one of the largest owners of the Borderies production area. It is the smallest and rarest of the Cognac areas. Its terroir gives a very floral side to the eaux-de-vie.
The house was founded in 1863 by Jean-Baptiste Camus, independent winemaker, four generations of Camus will then succeed at the head of the house. Camus cognac was the official cognac of the Tsar's court in the 19th century.
