Edgar Cognac

EDGAR Cognac was born from a family history that began five generations ago in Marancheville, in the heart of Grande Champagne.

Our great-grandparents laid the foundations for a level of expertise that has now become our hallmark.

Visionaries with a deep attachment to their land, they pioneered an art of winegrowing and distillation based on honesty, hard work and rigour.

Developed by our grandparents and parents, this expertise has been enriched over time by the experience and passion of each individual, serving the business of trading for the greatest Cognac Houses.

In 2024, our siblings, Édouard, Gabrielle and Henri decided to write a new chapter in this adventure by developing our own brand : EDGAR.

The final act is carried out by the fifth generation : the blend and balance of the eaux-de-vie. After many years of ageing in French oak barrels, each eau-de-vie is tasted, selected and blended with precision.

The great-grandchildren continue the techniques they have learned, while bringing their own perspective and contemporary standards to the process.

They sign each Cognac as the culmination of a long journey, while offering a product at a fair price.
