Domaine Laurent Cognac
My name is Ludovic Laurent; I'm the fifth generation of a family of winegrowers in Charente.
The LAURENT family single estate is located in Sainte-Lheurine, a small rural village of around 450 inhabitants in Charente-maritime, just a few kilometers from Cognac.
Covering around fifty hectares, our vineyard is mainly planted with Ugni blanc, the region's emblematic grape variety, known for its light, tangy aromas, which produce exceptional Cognac.
Our vines are located in the Petite Champagne region, where they benefit from rich, hilly clay-limestone soil.
Our vineyard is unique in that most of the vines are trained using the high cordon method, which limits the use of phytosanitary products and allows the vines to grow more freely.
