Tasting notes :
Nose : Notes of fruits and spices.
Palate : Excellent roundness with notes of hazelnut, cacao and nutmeg.
To be enjoyed pure.
Terroir : Chalky, thin soils, giving way to high limestone content from the surface down. Montmorillonite clay provides good structure and water reserve.
Age of vines : 3 to 80 years old.
Grape varieties : Ugni blanc and Colombard.
Ageing : between 15 to 20 years in old French oak barrels from Limousin and Tronçais forests.
