The Folle blanche, once the dominant grape variety before the phylloxera crisis, is now extremely rare in the Cognac region, accounting for barely 1 % of the total vineyards area.
This is because its cultivation is more technically demanding and delicate. Yet this grape variety is renowned for the finesse of its eaux-de-vie, with their intense floral bouquet.

Tasting notes :
Colour : golden, deep and luminous.
Nose : delicate and refined. Floral and citrus notes. A hint of richness.
Palate : light and elegant texture. Lovely freshness. Fruity richness reminiscent of a homemade fruit tart.
Soil : limestone.
Year : 2006. In Charente, a varied climate that shapes the grapes. A mild spring and a dry summer, followed by an ideal autumn, allowing the grapes to reach perfect ripeness.
Ageing : 20 years in old French oak barrels.
Bottled in 2026.
