Tasting notes :
Nose : complex, with sweet, ripe fruit, notes of apple, coconut, vanilla and custard.
Palate : full-bodied, with a certain power, spicy notes, ginger, cinnamon and white pepper. Mineral flavours and subtle hints of flint.
Finish : long, smooth, notes of honey, cinnamon and toasted oak.
Harvest : 2012 for the Cognac.
Ageing : 10 years in new French Tronçais oak cask.
Natural colour. Unchill-filtered.
Cask finish : aged for 12 months in an ex-cask from Domaine Gratiot-Delugny, a small-scale producer in the southern part of the Champagne appellation (Marne Valley).
Best enjoyed neat at room temperature to appreciate the elegance and depth of this Cognac.
