Lot N°61 Fins Bois Cognac Grosperrin
This very old cognac comes from a commune located in the heart of the Fins Bois, Réparsac.
It was produced by a winegrower who was also a nurseryman and who had developed complementary activities to his profession as a producer.
He had kept this lot, a souvenir of his first harvest, and the last one in his possession.
Very amber colour.
Nose of fresh mushroom, dried flowers, blackcurrant buds. One can immediately guess that this cognac has been aged in a damp cellar, because of the mushroomy notes that emerge. But despite this cellar aspect, the aromas are noble, this cognac is astonishing, one does not tire of the nose.
On the palate, the attack is soft, rich and unctuous. The aromas on the nose are confirmed on the palate, blackcurrant, wet dog, complex finish, vegetal and smoky at the same time.
A very old and rare Fins Bois!
