Under the strict supervision of the BNIC for several decades, vintages are subject to particular attention, reflecting their rarity and exceptional character.
Tasting notes :
Nose : Roasted pineapple and bitter orange blend with poached pear, quince, cocoa, walnut and marzipan, punctuated by notes of leather, undergrowth and vanilla.
Palate : ripe fruit and candied orange develop with hints of nutmeg, Bhutan pepper and a delicately lingering rancio.
Soil : limestone.
Climate : hot and dry.
Ageing : 40 years old in old French oak cask in a humid cellar.
Natural colour, no added sugar.
