Tasting notes :
Nose : notes of white flowers and vine blossoms (the hallmark of Folle blanche), followed by juicy white fruits : vine peach, pear and crisp grapes (contributed by the Colombard). Citrus notes : bergamot and lemon zest.
Palate : fresh and precise attack, marked by verbena and lime blossom. Structured body (from the Ugni blanc), with notes of pear, ginger and marzipan.
Finish : long, precise and persistent.
Grape varieties : a rare blend of Ugni blanc, Colombard and Folle blanche.
Limestone soil.
Double distillation on fine lees.
Ageing : 6 years and more in old French oak casks.
To be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail.
