Single cask L1-2008, 50cl, 51.3% vol/alc.
Limited edition of 200 bottles.
The two sisters, Elise and Mathilde, invite you to discover their very first Cognac single cask vintage 2008. To top it all off, this Cognac is made exclusively from Grande Champagne, Cognac's 1er cru.
Traditionally, Cognac is made by blending eaux-de-vie from different years. But for this edition, the two sisters have done an about-turn.
They have meticulously selected a 2008 vintage barrel. This barrel, until now under seal, is now revealing all its secrets.
Once extracted from its oak barrel, the Cognac is immediately bottled without blending and without any artificial additives. It is neither filtered nor reduced when it comes out of the barrel, which ensures that the ideal degree of alcohol is maintained to bring out the full aromatic range of the eau-de-vie. The Cognac is then brought to light in its rawest state.
