Description
Tasting notes :
Colour : mahogany.
Nose : complex, with fruity and woody notes, hints of pastry, plum, raisin, rancio, leather and old oak.
Palate : complex, well-balanced, with notes of apple compote, dark chocolate, orange zest, forest floor, heather honey, vanilla, dried apricot, prune and dried fig.
Finish : incredibly long, spicy.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Limestone terroir on a hillside.
Ageing : over 50 years in French Limousin oak casks.
Best enjoyed neat as a digestif in a tulip-shaped glass.
