Tasting notes :

Colour : amber with mahogany highlights.

Nose : complex, with notes of dried fruit, fig, prune, orange peel, vanilla, toast, spices and leather.

Palate : full-bodied and rounded, with woody and spicy notes, candied fruit, caramel and nut.

Finish : long and harmonious.

Grape variety : Ugni blanc.

Cru : Fins Bois. Clay-limestone soil.

Distillation on lees.

Ageing : for many years (well beyond the legal minimum) in French oak casks.
