Tasting notes :
Colour : amber.
Nose : notes of candied fruit, watermelon jam, nutmeg, vanilla and a hint of rancio. There are also hints of heather honey and dried fruit (fig, apricot).
Palate : the attack is mellow and smooth, with silky tannins. This is a Cognac with character, typical of Grande Champagne, offering a fine balance between floral and fruity notes. Good fullness on the palate.
Finish : a lovely, long finish, fruity and fresh.
Grape varieties : Ugni blanc, Folle blanche.
Distillation on lees.
Ageing : in French oak cask.
