Tasting notes :
Nose : After a few minutes in the glass, this very old Cognac reveals its olfactory treasures.
A multiplicity of harmonious notes where the first hints of roasting appear, opening up to subtle notes of white flowers and iris.
Secondary notes of fennel, Sichuan pepper, liquorice, candied orange and exotic fruits harmoniously round off the initial tasting.
Palate : fresh, round and smooth, with flavours of English cake, candied apricot and almond.
Finish : long and complex, cocoa-flavoured with a Port-Vintage finish.
Ageing : 48 years old in French oak barrel N° 0278.
