Our traditional white Pineau des Charentes is a blend of 3 different grape varieties (Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Montils) which is quite rare in the Charentes.
The grapes come from old plots, ensuring a very interesting aromatic richness because the production is low.
Aged about 4 years in oak barrels
Description
Tasting Notes:
This white pineau offers a bright buttercup yellow color with golden highlights.
The nose is open, fine and fruity. It opens with notes of candied yellow flesh fruits mixed with floral touches such as acacia flower. The aeration delicately reveals smoky and slightly woody points, the aromas reveal themselves crescendo.
The mouth is round, fruity and greedy. It opens with notes of plums, candied plums combining a honeyed aspect with a slight rancio that accentuates the length in the mouth, while maintaining a balance and freshness offering a beautiful harmony.
