Tasting notes :
Colour : deep gold with amber highlights.
Nose : complex and rich with dominant notes of dried fruit (hazelnut, almond, candied fruit) blending well with spices such as cinnamon and vanilla and a hint of sweetness (honey and caramel). Subtle notes of rancio and delicate woody aromas.
Palate : fine, delicate and round. Balanced with fruity (dried fruit), spicy and woody notes.
Finish : persistent. A complex, full-bodied and elegant Cognac.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Cru : Grande Champagne, 1st of the Cognac AOC, clay-limestone terroir.
Ageing : minimum 30 years in French oak barrels (Tronçais forest).
