Horizon Alfred Giraud French Single Malt Whisky

Tasting notes :

Colour : luminous gold.

Nose : fresh and elegant, beautifully balanced with well-integrated notes of French oak and soft aromas of ripe grapes.

Palate : elegant, rich and precise with outstanding freshness, a complex, fruity profile and an ample mouthfeel.

Finish : subtle and delicate with lingering gourmet notes.

We marry and mature 2 distinct distillates from our Saint-Palais distillery in Cognac and new French and American oak casks, creating the aromatic base.

In parallel, we age a select number of our Whiskies in high-quality casks, including old Cognac, Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé and Pineau des Charentes. The final marriage of all these malts matures in old Cognac casks. Altogether, a total of 14 different types of casks infuse their unique qualities into this complex single malt, giving Horizon the characteristic elegance and balance of the Alfred Giraud style.
