The history of the Bowen range is originally the creation of a blend of cognacs made by a man, for a woman!

The man: René-Luc Chabasse's great-grandfather, owner of Cognac estates and brands, met Elisabeth Bowen, a young Englishwoman whose family owned a farm in the vicinity of Pondicherry, during one of his travels.

He composed an aromatic and subtle cognac for her, with all his know-how and sensitivity.

From this wonderful story began the adventure of Bowen Cognacs which, in a spirit dedicated to travel and discovery, has been perpetuated through the rich and bewitching range that is offered to you today.
