Cognac Château d'Orignac
The vineyard is located in the heart of the "Fins Bois" appellation on the edge of the Gironde estuary. It is on this exceptional terroir that the red grape varieties, Merlot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, used to make Pineau, are grown, as well as Ugni Blanc and Colombard, the preferred grape varieties for Cognac.
It is through the careful and rigorous daily work of the winegrowers that the subtle balance between the climate, the soil and the vines is achieved, leading to perfect ripeness and great richness of the grapes.
In order to preserve and pass on to future generations the richness and authenticity of this terroir, Château d'Orignac practices sustainable agriculture.
