Description
Tasting notes :
Colour : deep gold with brass and gilded highlights.
Nose : fruity (dried apricot, candied lemon), spicy (Bourbon vanilla), balsamic (sandalwood, incense, beeswax).
Palate : light, rich and well-balanced. Notes of liquorice, hints of stewed fruit and prune macerated in Cognac, very fresh.
Grape varieties : sémillon (80 %) and sauvignon blanc (20 %).
Harvest : in 2000.
Ageing : in French Limousin oak casks.
