Tasting notes :
Colour : dark brown, bright and dense.
Nose : very rich, with aromas of Limousin oak, woodland undergrowth, mint, cigar box and flowers.
Palate : refined, elegant and distinguished, with notes of rose petals, liquorice and candied angelica, alongside a balsamic quality. Fine tannins, impressively full-bodied with a strong Charente rancio.
Finish : extraordinary and lingering.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Ageing : in new French Limousin oak casks.
