Tasting notes :
Colour : deep amber.
Nose : it displays great intensity and complexity. Aromas of sweet dried fruit such as hazelnut and dried fig; cedar wood, cigar box, tobacco leaves, vanilla, chocolate, and roasted coffee.
Palate : very intense, with well-balanced alcohol. A mellow flavour profile with a distinct hint of Charente rancio.
Finish : very long.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Ageing : in new French Limousin oak casks for the first few years, then in old casks.
