The Hauselmann family's Pineau des Charentes is what you might call a "homemade Pineau".
Far from the huge volumes produced by commercial producers, the family has managed to preserve the identity of Pineau thanks to their genuine expertise, ageing their Pineau in the family's original cellars and using old barrels.
