Tasting notes :
With its brilliant amber colour,
this Cognac offers a warm, complex nose with notes of old Cognac and rancio.
The palate is perfectly balanced, both sweet and aromatic, with flavors of licorice and dried flowers.
The finish, dominated by relatively intense woody notes, also expresses a certain minerality.
This old Cognac, at least 37 years old, comes from a family winery in the Archiac region. On the death of his wife, the husband took over the lots to allow them to age, selling them in 2015 to Grosperrin House.
