Hine is armed with over 260 years of attention to detail, from generations of dedicated craftsmen and women who have kept a keen eye on ensuring the longevity of this independent and family-owned cognac house.
Some of Hine’s vintage Grande Champagne cognacs are aged in Jarnac and some in the UK, where they came to be known as Early Landed. They were shipped after ageing two years in new oak barrels in Jarnac, in contrast to other cognacs which spent their entire ageing period in the Cognac region. Hine remains one of a rare few Cognac houses to continue the Early Landed tradition.
