Hine Cognac
Founded in 1763, Hine is armed with 260 years of attention to detail, from generations of dedicated craftsmen and women who have kept a keen eye on ensuring the longevity of this independent and family-owned Cognac house.
Rooted in Grande Champagne, the premier cru of Cognac, the Hine vineyards are meticulously tended, growing grapes of the highest quality to produce exceptional eaux-de-vie. The art of blending, honed over centuries, sees these spirits matured for decades in our cellars, creating Cognac that embody a commitment to excellence.
The house possesses a distinctive elaboration trilogy, founded on three essential elements: the vineyard, drawing its identity from the two premier crus, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne; distillation, characterized by a double distillation with the lees; and ageing, utilizing barrels made of fine-grained oak wood to preserve the aromatic richness of the eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne.
