Tasting notes :
Colour : amber with golden highlights.
Nose : complex, with a floral bouquet (jasmine, iris) intertwined with aromas of dried apricot, candied orange and Bourbon vanilla. Develops into notes of buttery brioche and star anise.
Palate : round and velvety, with pastry notes, Tarte Tatin, caramel and candied fruit. The tannins are well-integrated.
Finish : a harmonious and smooth, lingering finish.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Crus : Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.
Ageing : a minimum of 12 years in old French oak barrels.
Best enjoyed as a digestif, with Roquefort (blue cheese), Tarte Tatin or dark chocolate.
