Palate : powerful structure, silky texture, with refined bitter notes that balance the richness of the old oak.
Finish : endless length on the palate.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Cru : Grande Champagne, 1st within the Cognac AOC. Clay-limestone terroir.
Ageing : in French Limousin oak casks.
Best enjoyed as a digestif in a tulip-shaped glass, with blue cheese (Roquefort), dark chocolate or a Cuban cigar (Cohiba or Partagas).
