Tasting notes :
Nose : very complex, slightly smoky and velvety with fruity, herbaceous notes. Vanilla is then noticeable, almost like a pastry, with notes of cooked banana, bitter orange peel and ripe pineapple.
Palate : dry with a floral and fruity profile with notes of rose water, pear, white grape, apricot and apple. Then notes of coconut milk, allspices, gingerbread and nuts take over.
A blend of molasses Rum distilled in double-twisted pot still from two of Jamaica's famous distilleries, Long Pond and Clarendon, aged for 1 to 3 years in Bourbon casks on site.
These Rum are then aged for one year in ex-Ferrand barrels in France, near Cognac.
Enjoy neat as a digestif or in a cocktail.
