Capucin Liquor Cognac Rémi Landier
The naturally French aperitif!
The Rémi Landier House is launching CAPUCIN, a slightly bitter French aperitif, imagined and developed by Jean-Yves Landier, 4th generation of winegrower-distiller-breeder in Cognac, and his daughter, Géraldine, 5th generation.
Jean-Yves has drawn on the memories of his childhood in the countryside to concoct an aperitif he has often dreamed of, a liqueur that
would be the confluence of a Pineau des Charentes, a vermouth and a bitter.
After several years of research he has found the ideal formula that will delight our taste buds.
Description
An authentic aperitif where the grape rubs shoulders with the bitterness and the foral wonderfully.
A mistelle resulting from the maturation of fresh grape must, vodka and cognac brandy.
Natural herbs, infused in the mistelle: gentian, ginger, bitter orange and Roman chamomile
Tasting notes:
Color: Pale yellow
Nose: ample, delicate and powerful. Fruity and acidulous, its fruits are very expressive (grape, pear, heady flower). Then, aromatic plants and citrus fruits (gentian, lemon, bitter orange) arrive. It reveals itself progressively rich of exoticism (lime, pineapple).
Mouth: voluptuous until its bitterness. Very soft, it gains in power to become impressive of freshness. Its limpid style is stripped of all superfluous. It feeds on its sweet, bitter and acid balance. The fruit triumphs with its exotic character.
Finish: long, intense. The quality of its fruitiness continues to be exceptional. Sweet and fresh at the same time, it takes the taste buds into an endless bath of youth. The empty glass gives back the grape juice wonderfully.
