Reviseur Cognac is made with respect for the tradition and heritage of its region, Petite Champagne.
Emblematic and sophisticated, this Single Estate Cognac is produced entirely on the 90 hectares of the family estate.
Description
Tasting notes :
Colour : amber with golden highlights.
Nose : The initial nose offers a rich aromatic bouquet with notes of ripe fruits, honey, liquorice, cinnamon and a touch of pepper.
Palate : This XXO reveals roundness and softness with spicy aromas, intense woody notes with delicate aromas of candied fruits and cedar wood.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Vines : average age of 35 years.
Terroir : clay-limestone, south-facing slopes.
Ageing : 14 years minimum. Aged in new barrels for 8 to 12 months, then transferred to old 400-liters barrels made of French oak from the Limousin forests.
