Tasting notes :
Colour : mahogany with orange highlights.
Nose : complex, with an initial mentholated note. This gives way to pronounced notes of prune and candied fruit, enhanced by a hint of rancio and a nutty undertone.
Palate : balanced, straightforward and powerful. The flavour profile develops into notes of spices, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg.
Finish : exceptionally long, with spicy notes.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Cru : Grande Champagne, 1st of the Cognac AOC. Limestone slopes.
Ageing : 47 years in French oak barrels, alternating between damp and dry cellars.
