Above all, it's a family story! It began with Paul Monier, himself from the commune of Chassors, already a producer thanks to small plots of cereals and vineyards he owns in the Le Palin. Paul Monier wants to develop and exploit his land, and he has passed on this desire to his descendants, who have managed this commitment down the generations.
Then, in 1963, Franck Julien Monier inherited a few hectares of cereals and vines. He went on to create Le Palin in 1990, with the support of his wife Marie José Monier and his son Franck Georges Monier.
Together, the family expanded the family estate, strengthening their collaboration with prestigious houses such as Hennessy, Martell, Courvoisier and Grand Marnier.
It also produces Cognac and Pineau des Charentes from the family estate, under its various brands, including Paul Monier.
