Created in 1979 by Maurice Fillioux, this cuvée is a blend of remarkable finesse : a combination of eaux-de-vie carefully selected for their individual qualities to create a harmonious Cognac.
Description
Tasting notes :
Colour : coppery with amber hues.
Nose : this Cognac releases floral notes of dried rose and honeysuckle, underpinned by intense notes of red berries and spices.
Palate : balanced and rounded, combining smoothness and strength with a silky texture. Honey, dried flowers, truffles and sweet spices take centre stage in the bouquet. Delicate notes of cinnamon, cardamom and fruit give way to aromas of dried rose petals and heather.
Finish : remarkably long on the palate, revealing intense aromatic richness.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Ageing : in French old oak barrels.
Best enjoyed neat as a digestif in a tulip glass or with caviar.
