Rosé Pineau Cognac Painturaud Frères

A blend of grape must (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties) and Cognac, our Pineau des Charentes rosé is fresh and delicious.

Matured on the lees in old Cognac casks. Ageing during 5 years.

With its intense red colour, its very fruity nose blends blackcurrants and blueberries, aromas that are also savoured on the palate.

The palate is full and round, with a touch of freshness that offsets its generosity.

The finish is very pleasant.

A perfect accompaniment to melon and a few thin slices of local ham.

Serving suggestions : As a chilled aperitif (refrigerator temperature) with prunes cooked in lard. It goes perfectly with pheasant with grapes, Auvergne blue cheese and all chocolate desserts such as a good chocolate fondant.
