Description
Tasting notes :
Colour : bright amber with golden highlights.
Nose : complex, delicate hint of rancio. Aromas of dried fruit (apricot, walnut, hazelnut), gingerbread, honey, cinnamon and vanilla.
Palate : perfect balance between sweetness and acidity.
Finish : very good length.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Ageing : minimum 30 years in French oak barrels. Blend of vintages from the 1990s.
Food pairing : with foie gras, cheese and dessert.
