Nose : powerful and warm. Floral, fruity and spicy notes, orange, grapefruit, apricot, quince and vanilla.
Palate : rich and refined. Notes of pepper and liquorice.
Finish : long.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Cru : Fins Bois. Terroir on the best Charente hillsides, at the highest point of the Cognac appellation area, benefiting from exceptional south-facing exposure. Composed of groies soil.
Harvest : 2005.
Double distillation on lees.
Ageing : first in French oak barrels, then refined in French oak tanks.
Food pairing : cheese, dessert and chocolate.
