This Pineau des Charentes is produced by Lionel DUCOM, who has been working on the family single estate since 1990.
Description
Tasting notes :
Nose and palate : very aromatic with woody, fruity and floral notes.
Ideal fresh as an aperitif.
Grape variety : Colombard.
Terroir : limestone soil. Only 3 hectares in the South of Charente, in the Fins Bois cru.
Hand-picked at peak ripeness, slow juice extraction.
Harvest : 2017.
Ageing : at 50 % aged in new French oak barrels the 1st year and after in old barrels.
