Our story begins in 1878, when Auguste Edmond AUDRY founded A.Edmond Audry & Cie. The company's reputation for perfect distillation soon spread beyond France's borders. This family-run distillery in Cognac has a history dating back to 1878. Although it has preserved a collection of old barrels in its warehouse, it stopped selling its bottles in 1950. This could well be the secret of their success; in 1978, when Bernard Boisson relaunched the Audry brand of Cognac, he had one of the most precious cellars, housing decades-old eaux-de-vie. All that remained was to tap into this treasure trove and start making exceptional Cognacs again.
