This Cognac comes from our parcel of vines located in Fins Bois in Saint-Aulais-la-Chapelle. Bottling in February 2023.
It's a 2013 vintage. Entirely made by us with the help of our father and uncle.
Cognac single cask from barrel n° 21 in our cellar. Limited edition of 462 bottles ! Each bottle bears a unique number.
No added caramel, no sugar added, Cognac not cold filtered.
Description
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Terroir : Fins Bois.
Distillation : without lees.
Ageing : in temperate cellar and old French oak barrels
Tasting notes :
Colour : Pale gold.
Nose : Both fresh and floral. The first nose offers a succulent blend of fresh almond and citrus blossom. With aeration, it becomes increasingly complex, evolving towards floral notes of jasmine, honeysuckle and pear jam.
Palate : The first taste is both fresh and delicate, with floral notes of discreet vanilla and white flowers sprinkled with rose petals.
Final : The palate is light and delicate, with notes of acacia honey, almond and fresh citrus zest, followed by a hint of smoke.
